Kyo Sohma ~Spirit of the Cat~

Name: Kyo Sohma
Age: 17
Looks & Physical Appeal: Kyo is a tall slender boy with orange hair. He always wears a lack and while bead bracelet around his right (or left) wrist. He wears Tan slacks with a belt wrapped around his waist and an inch or two of the top of the pants sticking out above the belt. He has a black shirt. He has an average build of a normal teenager. He has red eyes that are almost catlike at times.

Personality: Kyo has a very big personality he is easily angered and easily annoyed by people. He tends to sit around alone however he always seems to attract people to him. He is extremely goofy and he always thinks he is serious while others thinks he is a complete and total goofball. Not the brightest person around. He tends to dislike other Sohmas and is always yelling at them. However he does have a soft spot for his master and Tohru. He always is trying to be stronger than he is so he can beat Yuki Sohma. Kyo is usually short-tempered, impulsive, and rude, but that is only one side to this complex character. He doesn't like to show his feelings and is very protective of those he cares for. He is also sometimes called "Kyonkyon" (by classmates in episode three of the anime, which makes him angry) and "Kyonkichi", which means 'lucky Kyo', mainly by Shigure Sohma and Ayame Sohma, who enjoy teasing him. One example of this is when Shigure teases him to the point when he stomps off into the forest on the verge of tears. He also appears to have a strong dislike for leeks, the smell of which makes him sick.

History: Kyo Sohma has the Spirit of the cat in him. With the curse of the cat he is disfigured and looks like an orange skinny long eared rabbit like creature. When he was young he was constantly pushed away from other people. Always being looked at from afar being taunted and ridiculed. He was always alone until Kazuma Sohma offered Kyo to live with him. Kyo became very close to Kazuma and trained Martial Arts under him at his dojo/house. Kyo was constantly looked down on as people would gossip how Kazuma was able to take the Spirit of the Cat as his adopted son. Kyo finally exploded saying "He isn't my father." So Kazuma would not have to deal with the gossip as well. After Kazuma left on a journey Kyo decided to take the time to train in the mountains for a while. It had be four months during the rigorous training session he made himself go through. When he got back he wanted to defeat Yuki Sohma so he could be accepted as a full Sohma as well. However he realized that Yuki was still stronger than him. He stayed at Shigure Sohma's house as he would constantly try to find a way to beat Yuki. While there he began to get closer to Tohru Honda and started to become even closer friends with her. During his stay and going to school he gained even more people who started to enjoy his company...even if he didn't feel the same about them. Kyo Started to gain more and more feelings for the people around him he would even stop arguing with Yuki more. Yet still has harsh feelings for him. One day Kazuma Sohma showed up at Shigure's house. There Kazuma removed Kyo's protective bracelet and showed his true form and curse of the cat spirit. He had done it right in front of Tohru who was shocked by the look of him. Kyo ran off in to the woods as he started to have flashbacks of bad memories. He felt even more alone until Tohru and expectantly Yuki showed up to help him. He was able to revert to his human self.

Rp Sample: The cool mountain breeze blew across the orange haired boys face. Wearing nothing but blue pants he stood with his eyes closed in a fighting stance. Holding his pose as he breathed in and out. He quickly shot open his eyes as he sent a lightning fast punch towards a tree stopping centimeters from the bark. He pulled his fist back in as he repeated for a while. His stomach started to growl loudly. Only disturbing him slightly he kept going with his training. Calmly practicing his stance and speed. He walked under a water fall as he sat down and meditated clearing his mind as only brief images of his past would pop in his head. He grasped on to his face as he looked down on to his hand.

"That..damned rat..."

Kyo brought himself back as he stood up and walked towards his small hut. Inside there was a range of wooden blocks and first aid supplies. He opened up a box as he pulled out a bag of rice. Grabbing a metal pot as he set it on a fire cooking and steaming the rice. He made a excess amount of rice balls. He wasn't able to fully finish all the rice balls. Slowly feeling the drain of his daily workout he decided to get some sleep since he knew he was going to need it. While sleeping the cool night brought a very large guest. Some animal had taken some of Kyo's food. Waking up as he noticed the missing supplies he knew he needed to go out and restock. Venturing out in the woods he picked berries and other fruits. Pulled roots and other spices. He started to live off the bounty of the land so to speak. However he still needed meat. So hunting for the forest animals was a tad harder than usual. He started to hunt rabbits and squirrels but that was not enough he needed something bigger. That's when he found it. A bear how a bear was randomly found he doesn't know. But he had found it and well it looked nice enough to eat. It would be also a good way to test out his training. So after five hours of fighting a bear he had finally killed it. Ironically it had ran in to a tree while trying to kill him instead. It had knocked itself out and Kyo just left the finishing blow. So skinning it and cooking it then drying out the meat. Kyo had just enough food to last him for a while. Of course he did nothing but train most of the day.
